Does it matter what kind of bread you get?

I didn’t have any ground ginger on hand, but I did have some crystallized ginger. I cut this into small slivers and added it to the apple portion. It added an interesting texture and flavor that were quite delicious.

Hi There! I’m new to your site. I just want to share that I’m a night worker so I sleep most of the day. I’m glad I found you because crocking is a good way to get a home cooked meal done while I sleep. I tried this recipe and loved it. My mom has decided to add this to our holiday menu. Thanks for all the great recipes. Hope to try more soon.

Hi! came across this recipe and would like to try it today, but have no bread crumbs on hand, I do however have some graham cracker crumbs. Do you think it would be okay to substitute the two?

I have no bread crumbs and no blender. Is there anything that could be substituted? I can’t wait to try this; it looks and sounds delicious.
