Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1/2 block cream cheese
1 package egg noodles

  1. Set slow cooker to low and add chicken.
  2. Mix seasoning packet with water and pour over chicken.
  3. Cover. Cook on Low for 6 hours.
  4. Next, in small saucepan, over med. heat, mix soup and cream cheese.
  5. After constant stirring, pour soup mixture over chicken in slow cooker.
  6. Cook 1 more hour on low setting.

Shred chicken and serve over egg noodles, rice, or pasta. Yummy and oh-so-easy!

Great meal. Easy. I didn’t have boneless, skinless chicken so I used regular chicken breasts, took quite a while to pick out all the bones. Next time I will make sure I have boneless and skinless.

I make this one ALL the time but I add a little milk to the chicken mixture several mins (long enough to warm the milk up) before serving to make it a little more sauce like then serve over biscuits… kind of like biscuits and gravy.

Christen, that is correct. Just mix the Italian dressing seasoning with a 1/4 cup water, and then pour that over the chicken in the crock pot. Good luck!

This was delicious! Thank you! I used the new Philly Cooking Creme and it worked great. Next time I might try the Italian flavored cooking creme.

I took the leftovers and added a jar of marinated artichoke hearts which I chopped up- along with the liquid. I heated up the chicken, some noodles and the artichokes in the microwave. It was delicious!! Probably good enough to serve at a dinner with guests. Thanks for the recipe- it couldn’t have been… Read more »

Yummy! I added green onions and fresh mushrooms. We like things a bit spicier, so I also added Tony’s creole seasoning.

I make this all the time but I don’t add water. I mix the powdered dressing in with the crm of mushroom. It might help with giving a little more flavor.
