• 1 1/3 c. dry old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 1/2 c. plus 1 T. water
  • dash of salt

  1. Mix together cereal, water and salt in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 6 hours.

Note: The recipe is this: for one serving, use 1/3 cup dry oats and 2/3 cup water, plus a few grains salt. Miltiply by the number of servings you need.

Variation: Before cooking, stir in raisins and/or a few chopped dates for each serving.
