I had way too much liquid left over. I halved the recipe as I used a bit more than half of he bird. The taste is pretty good. Will try again with some more modifications.

I used chicken legs and substituted berry sparkling water for the pop. It turned out amazing! My 18 mth old son even scarfed it down and he is not a huge meat eater. Definitely a keeper recipe!

I love this, made it tonight. Since I’ve started using my crock pot I’ve had trouble keeping my chicken from being dry. Any suggestions?

You can substitute pork loin chops for the chicken and it is still very delicious. The pork almost melts in your mouth with a hint of sweet n sour flavor. VERY tasty, the kids LOVE it!

I am cooking this in my crockpot now and I’m concerned because all I can smell is vinegar and I only have 1.5 hrs left of cooking. I definitely used the proper amount.
