Very, very tasty and unbelievably simple! It’s exactly the taste I’m looking for! Try it stovetop with cubed steaks as well.

Can you just put it all in and let it cook on low all day?

Why don’t the ingredients match the picture? At the very least there are no sliced mushrooms, cilantro or onions listed but they are in the picture? It appears that is a professionally prepared dish and this is something different

I am a “set it and forget it” kind ofcook. I start it in the morning and come home to a cooked meal. Can you leave the meat on low for 6 hours? And then add the cream cheese later?

Just made this for dinner and it doesn’t get any easier than that! Very tasty but we all agreed it was a bit salty, what could we use other than the dry onion soup mix and not lose any of the ease and tastiness? I was thinking dried onions? I wish they made a low salt version of the dry onion soup mix!

I don’t like the dry onion soup mix for the same reason, way too salty. In another recipe that called for it I used dried onions and it was great! And no added salt either. Way better with the dried onions. I did a test batch of what I was cooking and used only 1/2 the amount required of the dry soup mix and found it too salty, that’s what steered me towards using a few tablespoons of the dried onions. Do it, it will come out great.

I made this recipe for the first time tonight. It was super easy and super yummy! I cut at least 30 minutes off the cooking time by cutting the meat into smaller bite-size pieces. I also added about a cup of sliced mushrooms, and those added to the deliciousness!! Thanks crock pot girl!!

Thank you so much for this recipe. I am a college student in a dorm with a kitchen. I saw your pumpkin post on Facebook and decided to see what other things you had. I saw this and immediately left the room to get the ingredients and throw it all in my Crock Pot. The smells are wonderful! My neighbors have already asked for a plate. Super easy. Super convenient. Super yum. Thanks!

Thank you!

Made this with fresh onion (which I softened in a little olive oil before adding to the slow cooker) rather than onion soup mix and it was gorgeous!

Absolutely delish. I bought 2 lb London broil and cut in cubes. I also added sliced red onion and a container of sliced portobellos. I cooked on low for 6 hours and served over egg noodles and steamed spinach. Will definitely keep this recipe as a favorite. Thank you for the recipe.

Excellent and so easy. I added fresh mushrooms and onions during the first hour on low and then added frozen broccoli. Served over noodles and a side of salad…yum, I have a new easy go to dinner. Thank you and keep up the great work. 🙂
