Allergic to onion…..what to use instead of onion soup packet?
Jenny you can use any of he other soup mixes, such as the vegetable soup mix? Hope this helps!
The high calories, high cholesterol, and high sugar make this impossible for a person with diabetes to eat…..it does sound good however, and I wish I could eat it!!
What would make the fat so high?
I don’t know what would make the fat so extremely high but look at that sodium too! Chicken is suppose to be healthy! Not this meal. 781 calories for one piece of chicken! That’s crazy. It’s the processed foods… the salad dressing, apricot jam and package onion soup mix is ridiculously high in salt.
How about subbing with low sugar jam, or even pureed apricots, low cal dressing and low sodium beef bouillon cube?
simply substitute reduced sugar jam and Penzys salt free granulated onion (it is roasted) or their dehydrated onion. I have done this and works fine.
