**Slow Cooker Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce

Slow Cooker Strawberry Rhubarb Sauce

  • Cooking Time:

    6–7 hours
  • Servings:

    6–8

Ingredients

6 c. chopped rhubarb
1 c. sug­ar
1 cin­na­mon stick
1/2 c. white grape juice
2 c. sliced straw­ber­ries

  1. Place rhubarb in slow cook­er. Pour sug­ar over rhubarb. Add cin­na­mon stick and grape juice. Stir well
  2. Cov­er. Cook on Low 5–6 hours, or until rhuarb is ten­der.
  3. Stir in straw­ber­ries. Cook 2 hour longer.
  4. Remove cin­na­mon stick.
  5. Chill.

Serve over cake or ice cream.

NOTE: Keep refrig­er­at­ed!
