Slow Cooker Asian Chicken

    5–6 hours

6 chick­en leg quar­ters
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. packed light brown sug­ar
1/2 tsp. gar­lic pow­der
1 can (8 oz.) toma­to sauce


  1. Wash chick­en; pat dry.
  2. Place chick­en pieces in a slow cook­er.
  3. In a medi­um bowl, com­bine soy sauce, brown sug­ar, gar­lic pow­der, and toma­to sauce.
  4. Pour sauce over chick­en.
  5. Cov­er. Cook on Low for 5 to 6 hours or until chick­en is ten­der and juices run clear.

Does the chick­en need to be cooked or can it be raw?


Ques­tion about the nutri­tion­al infor­ma­tion on this recipe, is that for the chick­en pre­pared with the sauce? And if so what are you count­ing as one serv­ing? How many ounces of chick­en? Just ask­ing cause I do weight watch­ers and it fig­ures out to be 6 pp but just would like to know serv­ing size
