Slow Cooker Ziti (Gluten-Free)

  • Cooking Time:

    4–5 hours on Low

Ingredients

1 lb. noo­dles, brown rice penne
1 lb. cot­tage cheese, fat free
3 c. spinach
14 oz. arti­choke hearts
14.5 oz. diced toma­toes
2 c. mari­nara sauce
1 — 2 c. water

A deli­cious gluten-free recipe for the slow cook­er. Slow Cook­er Ziti is a favorite for all the Ital­ian lovers out there.

  1. Spray slow cook­er with non stick cook­ing spray.
  2. Stir all ingre­di­ents togeth­er.
  3. Cov­er. Cook on Low for 4–5 hours.

I have just recent­ly learned that I have the H-pylori bac­te­ria (which 50–75% of peo­ple have, it just doesn’t always show itself… mine was a bleed­ing ulcer) Some of the web­sites I have read have sug­gest­ed a diet free of gluten, cof­fee and soy… Plus there are so many peo­ple that are gluten intol­er­ant… Have you guys thought of doing a Gluten free cat­e­go­ry? Thanks

I agree that a gluten-free cat­e­go­ry would be help­ful for those of us with gluten intol­er­ances to find things that we can crock eas­i­ly and quick­ly. Although we are capa­ble of alter­ing many recipes to be gluten-free it would be a great addi­tion here to have a tab we can quick­ly click to bring us a hand­ful of trust­ed gluten-free recipes.
