Banana Ghosts & Pumpkin Oranges

Ingredients

6 bananas
30+ chocolate chips
4 clementines (I like the Little Cuties because they are easy to peel!)
1 stalk celery


I’ve been amazed at all the cre­ative treats that pop up from time to time on Pin­ter­est. One that caught my inter­est were Banana Ghosts & Pump­kin Oranges.  While they aren’t made in a slow cook­er, they ARE healthy and easy Hal­loween treats that you can make at home. Give this recipe a go for your Hal­loween gath­er­ing. Every­one will appre­ci­ate hav­ing some­thing oth­er than can­dy to snack on for a sweet treat. Hap­py Hal­loween!   1. Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Place the cut side down so the banana halves stand up. (If you pre­fer, lay on a tray and you can use skew­ers to make them easy to eat!)
  2. Make ghost eyes and mouths with the choco­late chips.
  3. Peel the clemen­tines.
  4. Cut the washed cel­ery length­wise into thirds and then across into 1/2 inch pieces. Insert the cel­ery pieces the tops of the peeled clemen­tines to look like pump­kins.
