Method

Step by step

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

    Season the flank steak with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

    Sear the steak for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.

    Transfer the steak to the slow cooker and top with the sliced bell peppers and onions.

    Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the steak is tender.

    Shred the steak with two forks and mix it with the peppers and onions.
