Sadly, my mother is no longer with us, but I have many happy memories of her and her wonderful cooking. She could take almost any ingredients and turn out a tasty meal. My brothers and sister and I all ate vegetables, primarily because she cooked them to perfection! Her baking was legendary.

My Mom has been there for me throughout all my life. I was very sick as a child – I had a rare progressive disease that, at times, I was nearly non-functional. Years later, my husband was diagnosed with Cancer. She was there for us throughout all treatments. He only lived 20 months. I have a very close relationship with my Mom & I’m thankful for we have the relationshipship we do.

In 2009 I lost my job because of the economy. My mother moved in with me so she could help me with my bills so I would not lose my home. I have 9 dogs, 3 cats, a bird, a donkey and 29 chickens and she knew there was no where that I could go unless I got rid of all of them. She is the best and sacrificed so much for me and I love her.

My mom lives a four flight plus a three hour drive away from us. She lives by herself and works very hard. She manages to save up her money to visit us whenever she can. She would love to see her eight grand kids more than she can and what better way than with a fantastic crock pot!

What’s not to love about my Mom? She is amazing. My Mom puts the needs of everyone before her own. She is my best friend, mentor, nurse, babysitter and many more. I am so amazingly blessed to have her be my Mom and as a guide through this crazy life!

My mother is the best. She’s kind, sweet, outgoing and dependable. I can go to her for anything. We always have a wonderful time together. I love talking to her and sharing my stories with her. I would be insanely lost without her. I’m very blessed to have her. I’m thankful everyday! I love her for eternity!

My mother despite all her health issues (physical and mental) still means the world to me. At times, she is very hard to deal with and can go from super nice to out of hand in a second but it changes nothing. I may get upset and irritated at times with her actions but I remember how she was before she was faced with all these problems and she was a loving, and fun woman. She was always there (even when I didn’t want her to be) and she will always be. I haven’t seen her in almost 3 years… Read more »

This would make a great way to honor my Mother! Since her passing of ALS, all I have are the memories of being in the kitchen with her. We would cook side by side & talk. She was amazing, fought ALS with dignity, and taught by being the best role model.

My Mom is special to me because she took care of 8 kids and our Dad and maybe we didn’t have much but we always has a great tasting and filling meals (sure didn’t know we were poor) Always remember my Mom using a crockpot to make supper year round. Hot hearty meals in the winter and great meals in the summer that didn’t heat up the house. I’m on my 2nd crockpot now after 16 years of marriage and thankfully my family enjoys crockpot meals too.

I have the best Mother in law! She is so sweet and smart and loving. She always goes out of her way for others and puts herself last. Her unwavering dedication and love for her family shines through in everything she touches. She has amazing recipes that have been handed down from generations. She would thoroughly enjoy and take great pleasure in having a personalized Crock-Pot® Create-a-Crock™ Slow Cooker. The joy and smile on her face seeing the personalized crock pot with pictures of her grandchildren and family would bring tears to my eyes. It is something she would treasure… Read more »

I can honestly tell you that even if my Mom wasn’t my Mom, I’d want her in my life as my friend, mentor, etc. She is the most well-rounded woman I know….intelligent, thoughtful and honest, etc. I just cannot say enough about her. I realize, the older we both get, how much I truly and deeply love and appreciate her. She has meant so much to so many, not just her children, but to all those that needed a Mother figure and friend. My Mom is in Michigan and I’m in Florida. Even though we are in touch daily, I… Read more »

What I love most about my Mom? The fact that when I adopted two children she supported me. She was right by my side when I found out my adopted son would pass away before his fifth birthday. She held me as I held him as he took his last breath. Unconditional love <3

I love my mom for many reason but most of all she is my mom and is always there when I need her. She has helped me on so many things with my daughter. Where would we a be if we didn’t have a mom figure in our lives. Moms are the best and I hope some day my daughter will say the same thing about me.

My mom is a very loving, giving and caring person.
She had always helped anyone in need that she came in contact with. She helps provide food to local homeless people and donated to local charities for the homeless. She is and has always been a loving mother. Everyone loves her and calls her mom. I love her with all my heart and would love for her to have a new crockpot.

My mom passed away in 1982, she had ovarian cancer, and she wanted to pass away at home peacefully. We could do this because we had two nurses in the family, but to give the nurses a break we needed folks to take 8 hour shifts to help us all out. My stepmother stepped up to the plate and took shifts like my mom’s sisters and sister in laws. It helped that, believe it or not, my mom and step mom had become good friends, yes it made interesting holidays. On the day she passed my step mom was there,… Read more »

My Mom is the most amazing person I know! As a young adult we weren’t very close. As I’ve my matured and had my own little ones, we’ve grown close. She raised 4 girls all on her own and I promise you we were a handful! She’s had a rough few years- diagnosed with breast cancer after 20 years of being cancer free. She’s doing well now but I don’t know what I would do without her guidance and support. Even when we weren’t so close! She’s an amazing grandmother, attends every sporting event and school program. I’m sure we… Read more »

My mother taught me to crochet. Something I still do today. She used to massage my feet after my cross country practices and events. She also sent daily letters when I was in Army training. Lots of lovely memories.

Funnily enough my favorite memory with my mother is the time she wrecked our van on vacation by side-swiping a tourism tram. There’s no way she should’ve not seen the large, red train car, but she says she didn’t and her efforts to unstick our van from the side only made it worse until we’d gone from a fender bender to missing a door and having every panel on the van damaged. To this day I’m not sure how she accomplished so much damage in so little a timeframe. It was hilarious, though a tad nerve wracking, but a memory… Read more »

My mom is the strongest and most loving woman I know. She puts everyone before herself and never asks for anything. I would give her the world if I could but I’m still a full time college student so that’s not possible at the moment. She was abandoned on the street at the age of three by her biological mother and separated from her twin sister when she was adopted by a caring, loving, mom of 4. That loving mom of 4 (my grandmother) is where she gets her strength and courage from. Sadly she lost her father (my grandfather)… Read more »

SUPPORTIVE ~ loving my dad (her husband), partnering with him in raising 3 children, caring for the elderly that were in her life, supporting me and my husband through the loss of our first child, through my open heart surgery, for wanting the best for her grandchildren, and cheering us on in all we do. She continues to do for others even though she lives every day in pain. There’s not enough room to share all that needs to be said…she loves the Lord and loves us!
