Ingredients
2 squirrels - skinned, gutted, and cut into pieces4 large potatoes, quartered
1 lb. carrots, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
4 onions, sliced
2 c. water
1/4 medium head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
- In a slow cooker, place the squirrel meat, potatoes, carrots, green bell pepper, onions, water, cabbage, salt and ground black pepper.
- Cover. Cook on Low setting for 8 hours.

People actually hunt squirrel in the Midwest (where I grew up) so I wanted to include this one! This one is Grandma’s recipe. 🙂
