Slow Cooker Maple Salmon

  • Cooking Time:

    1 hour on HIGH
  • Servings:

    6

Ingredients

6 Salmon fil­lets (fresh or frozen)
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/8 c. lime juice
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tsp. crushed gar­lic
1 tsp. minced gin­ger root (I keep it in the freez­er and grate it frozen. Very con­ve­nient!)

If you like salmon you will LOVE this recipe for Slow Cook­er Maple Salmon. It’s full of fla­vor, ten­der and real­ly moist! (and SO Easy!)

  1. Place salmon pieces in a 3 1/2 quart slow cook­er
  2. Mix the sauce ingre­di­ents and pour over salmon.
  3. Cov­er & Crock on HIGH for 1 hour. (increase to approx. 2 hours if using frozen fish)

Note: This salmon is good hot or cold. Serve hot over rice, or serve cold by crum­bling over sal­ad or pas­ta. YUM!

Hi! This sounds amaz­ing. Just wondering..if using fresh salmon filets, instead of frozen, should I adjust the time? Thanks!

I’m a bit con­fused. You say to cook on High for 1 hour to “frozen is fine” salmon. But here in the com­ments you say to reduced the time by an hour if using fresh salmon.
Can you please clar­i­fy the tim­ing? Thanks!

1)If I want­ed to cook the frozen salmon on low.….…
how many hours should I cook it for in the crock pot.
2) Also, after it is done can I leave it on warm or do I have to turn it off.

This looks so good. Love salmon. McCormick Inspi­ra­tions had a sea­son­ing for Asian Salmon with 6 lit­tle pack­ets to use plus hon­ey, but I can’t find it here any­more. This is remark­ably sim­i­lar and I could sub some hon­ey. Thanks for the recipe and the chance to res­ur­rect a din­ner I real­ly liked.

Have a ques­tion my crock­pot is a 6qt. I believe will it take longer than and hour then for it to be done. Nev­er done salmon in a crock­pot before. I will post how it turns out. :).
