Cooking Time:4–5 hours
Ingredients3–5 lbs. pork (may use smoked pork shoulder)
1 lg. onion, sliced
2 apples, peel & cut up in pieces
2 T. chutney or 1 c. dried fruit (mixed)
1 c. apple cider or apple juice
1/2 c. water
1 or 2 garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
Salt & pepper to taste
- Combine all ingredients together in slow cooker.
- Cover. Cook on High for 4 or 5 hours.
- Thicken gravy.
- Remove bay leaf.
Slice meat and serve.
