Slow Cooker Pepperoncini Peppers Beef Roast

5 lb. Beef Roast
4 oz. pack­age Lip­ton Onion Soup Mix
16 oz. Jar Sliced Pep­per­onci­ni Pep­pers
10 oz. Chick­en Broth
10 oz. Beef Broth
Pro­volone Cheese and Hoagie Rolls, sug­gest­ed for serv­ing

This recipe for Slow Cook­er Pep­per­onci­ni Pep­pers Beef Roast makes the best sand­wich­es.  I have spent a lot of time in Chica­go, where my fam­i­ly eats Ital­ian beef sand­wich­es all the time — this is my ver­sion!

  1. Place beef roast in slow cook­er.
  2. Sprin­kle onion soup mix and pour beef and chick­en broth over roast.
  3. Pour entire jar of pep­per­onci­ni pep­pers w/juice over beef roast.
  4. Cov­er. Cook on low for 10 hours.
  5. Remove roast and shred. Return to slow cook­er and stir to com­bine with juices.
  6. Serve on toast­ed hoagie rolls topped with pro­volone cheese. (I like to serve au jus on the side, too!)

I had a sim­u­lar ver­sion made of this and it was amaz­ing! Love that you can throw it in and go. And my whole fam­i­ly actu­al­ly ate it!


I am so going to try this this week! I am won­der­ing, though… where do you get your nutri­tion facts? I love that they look like labels!


I have made this sev­er­al times and it always turns out amaz­ing! I am mak­ing it today for Sun­day night foot­ball! My hus­band and his friends love it too. Instead of whole pep­per­onci­nis, I have used the pep­per­onci­ni rings, which works the same and cuts out the time of remov­ing stems, etc. Enjoy!!
