Slow Cooker Beef Tips with Mushroom Sauce **

Slow Cooker Beef Tips in Mushroom Sauce

  • Cooking Time:

    8 Hours Low or 4 hours on High
  • Servings:

    8

Ingredients

2 lb. Chuck Roast, cut in 1.5″ pieces
10 3/4 oz. Con­densed, Cream of Mush­room Soup
4 oz. Sliced, Fresh Mush­room
1 pkg. Onion Soup Mix
12 oz. Lemon-Lime Soda
Egg Noo­dles

 

  1. Place meat in a 5-quart slow cook­er.
  2. Com­bine mush­room soup and onion soup mix, and pour over meat.
  3. Add soda.
  4. Cov­er. Cook in slow cook­er for 8 hours on Low (or High for at least 4 hours).
  5. Turn off and let sit for 30 min­utes before serv­ing. Also good if you add veg­gies at the begin­ning of the crock­ing.

Serve over rice or egg noo­dles!

I don’t drink any diet soft drinks. Is there a sub­sti­tute for the 1 can sug­ar free sprite or 7up?

The sug­ar-free Sprite/7-Up real­ly is a sur­prise ingre­di­ent. I’m curi­ous how this why it is sug­gest­ed but beef broth could be sub­sti­tut­ed. Seems quite a dif­fer­ent taste option. Where did you come up with that idea? Inter­est­ed to know. By the way, I LOVE your recipes. Thank you so much for shar­ing them 🙂
