Slow Cooker Beer Brats

8 Bratwurst Sausages
2 T.Olive Oil
1 Medi­um Yel­low Onion, sliced
1 T. Minced Gar­lic
12 oz. beer

Slow Cook­er Beer Brats are so easy and per­fect for a large group or on a day you need some easy crock­ing (like Game Day!)

  1. Heat oil and gar­lic in a large skil­let; add bratwurst and brown on each side.
  2. With a fork, poke holes in each bratwurst and cook for 5 more min­utes.
  3. Trans­fer brats to a 4-quart slow cook­er; add onions and beer to cov­er.
  4. Cov­er. Cook on Low for 6–7 hours.
