Slow Cooker Pork Chops, Potatoes and Carrots

  • Cooking Time:

    4–6 hours
  • Servings:

    6

Ingredients

1 lb. Pork chops
1 medi­um yel­low onion, sliced
6 medi­um pota­toes, scrubbed and sliced
6 car­rots, peeled and sliced
1 beef buil­lion cube (or 1 can beef broth)
1 can fat-free cream of mush­room soup
1 1/2 c. water

 

  1. Place pork chops in bot­tom of slow cook­er (I use frozen, can be thawed).
  2. Place sliced onions on top, then sliced pota­toes and sliced car­rots on top.
  3. Boil water, dis­solv­ing buil­lion.
  4. Mix broth with soup until blend­ed.
  5. Pour over top of ingre­di­ents in slow cook­er.
  6. Cov­er. Cook on Low for 4–6 hours.

NOTE: If you like more ‘gravy’, dou­ble soup and buil­lion mix­ture.

This smells amazing.…I’ve had it in the crock pot for the past 5 hours…I’m about to sit down and have din­ner. I will post my com­ments. Love me a crock pot din­ner :}

I made this last night for din­ner, and it was great! The only mod­i­fi­ca­tion I might make next time I make it will be to add a lit­tle black pep­per and cayenne to the boul­lion — but that is just a per­son­al taste. Thank you for shar­ing your recipe.

I’m aller­gic to pork..I don’t mind eat­ing veg­e­tar­i­an, but my hub­by sure does 😉 what meat could I sub­sti­tute for the pork?
