.75 oz. ranch sea­son­ing mix
.7 oz. Ital­ian dress­ing mix, dried
.87 oz. brown gravy mix
1/2 c. water
1 onions, large, chopped
6 car­rots, large, chopped into bite size pieces
8 pota­toes, large, chopped into bite size pieces

i dont usu­al­ly add so many pkgs of dry mix­es but after adding up the salt con­tent (30% total) i made this as direct­ed except i browned the roast in tiny bit of oil and lots of onions. i left car­rots pota­toes and cel­ery in big pieces so they would not turn into mush dur­ing the 8 hrs on high…removed all from crock, thick­end gravy with flour and served with peas. it was won­der­ful and my dad used his bread to wipe his plate clean.thanks!
