**Slow Cooker Paleo Coconut Braised Pork

Slow Cooker Paleo Coconut Braised Pork

2 T. Coconut Oil
3 lbs. Bone­less Pork Butt
4 T. Fish Sauce
1 T. Minced Gar­lic
1 c. Coconut Water
1/2 c. Cilantro, coarse­ly chopped
2–3 Green Onions, sliced
Salt and Pep­per to taste

Won­der­ing what to do with that pork shoul­der besides “Pulled Pork” sand­wich­es?  Make Slow Cook­er Paleo Coconut Braised Pork for an intense­ly fla­vor­ful dish, sure to impress the most refined palate!

  1. Place a large skil­let over medi­um-high heat with the oil. Sear the meat, brown­ing well on all sides.
  2. Trans­fer the meat to a 6-Quart Slow Cook­er and add the fish sauce, gar­lic and coconut water.
  3. Cov­er and crock on LOW about 8–10 hours.
  4. Eas­i­ly pull apart cooked meat and return to the slow cook­er.
  5. Serve warm over veg­eta­bles with a bit of the liq­uid from the slow cook­er.
  6. Gar­nish with cilantro and/or green onions if desired.

Can also SERVE over jas­mine or brown rice.

Thank you so much Jenn! This recipe was absolute­ly deli­cious! My hus­band and I real­ly enjoyed it as did our 5 year old. Very easy, love the min­i­mal ingre­di­ents. This was my first recipe of yours and first attempt at using the crock pot so I am VERY pleased.


Thank you so much Jenn. This was so good, and the kids had sec­onds. they were wor­ried because they don’t like coconut, but the depth of taste was amaz­ing and no coconut­ty at all!


I am not sure why this is called Paleo pork. No where in the recipe does it say what kind of pork to use, so in my opin­ion, espe­cial­ly since you’re using coconut oil, coconut water and fish oil, which is all processed stuff from a can or bot­tle, then this can­not pos­si­bly be real Paleo food. We use this title way too loose­ly and by shar­ing it as such we are encour­ag­ing false­ly that these recipes are Paleo. Here is a link explain­ing what I mean:
