I just tried this recipe and I think I hit a glitch with the “8 sweet potatoes.” How much should they weigh? I have a 6 qt. slow cooker and it couldn’t hold everything which made me worry I don’t have enough liquid. I’ll find out if the morning.

Hi Jen!
I am wondering how many this would serve? And also, could I add pecans for the entire cooking time?
Thanks!
