Slow Cooker Air Freshener

    1–2 hours

3 c. warm water
8 cinnamon sticks, broken
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. allspice
3 tsp. vegetable oil

Need a quick air fresh­n­er made with spices you usu­al­ly have on your shelf and they are edi­ble. Slow Cook­er Hol­i­day Air Fresh­en­er is so easy to make, and will give your home a delight­ful fra­grance!

  1. Mix togeth­er the ingre­di­ents and place into a slow cook­er.
  2. Sim­mer, but you will need to watch the slow cook­er and add addi­tion­al water as need­ed, as the water will evap­o­rate rather quick­ly due to the heat.

NOTE: Use spices of your choice for dif­fer­ent hol­i­days.

I like to use apple or cran­ber­ry juice instead of the water. I also throw in a hand­ful of cloves in addi­tion to the oth­er spices. Just pop it in the refrig­er­a­tor each night to keep it fresh.
