Donna Z. J. likes to throw a whole chicken in her slow cooker! I see so many things to do with this recipe Donna, thank you so much for sharing!
- Donna seasons her whole chicken on all sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (paprika is key–gives it a great taste!).
- She doesn’t add more than a tablespoon or two of water to keep it from sticking to the bottom.
- Cover. Cook on Low all day, and the meat will fall off the bones and be delicious.
Donna says they like to shred it and add barbecue sauce. Serve on hot dog or hamburger buns. I think this would also be good without the barbeque sause, and just shredded to put on salads!
