I’m trying this recipe for the first time today. I just realized that I had it on HIGH instead of Low. I have another 5 hours to go… Do I cut the time in half? How badly have I screwed up — and is it salvageable? It smells and looks amazing!

This was great although I changed it up a little bit…didn’t add the bayleaf , instead i added 1 tbsp of white vinegar, 2 tbsp of yellow mustard and 2 tsps of cinnamon. Served with a dollop of sourcream and the finance came back for seconds! Amazing!

This one was a fail for me 🙁 I know it sat on warm a bit long after the 8 hours, but it tasted scorched and normally chilis and soups can sit on warm a while with no problem. It was also a bit bland. I really wanted to like this.
