Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken

Ingredients

4 skin­less, bone­less chick­en breasts
2 c. buf­fa­lo wing sauce
1/2 c. crum­bled bleu cheese
2 T. but­ter

A sim­ple and quick crowd pleas­er:  these Slow Cook­er Buf­fa­lo Chick­en are a great week­night meal choice.

  1. Place the chick­en breasts into a slow cook­er, and pour in 3/4 of the wing sauce.
  2. Cov­er and crock on LOW 6–7 hours.
  3. After 6–7 hours, add but­ter, and shred the meat with two forks, or leave whole.
  4. Arrange meat onto the hoagie rolls, top with bleu cheese crum­bles, bib let­tuce, and addi­tion­al wing sauce, if desired.

Option­al: Serve on hoagie buns as a sand­wich!

I am so glad that I found this through a fb friend who post­ed it on fb. I am going to buy the cook­book when my hus­band gets home since he has the deb­it card.
I think I will buy more that one- Christ­mas presents for some fam­i­ly and friends.

Do you have a recipe for wing sauce? I’ve, as of yet, been u suc­cess­ful find­ing one I like, and I much pre­fer to make my own sauces!
