**Slow Cooker Leftover Turkey Noodle Soup

Slow Cooker EASY Leftover Turkey Noodle Soup

  • Cooking Time:

    4 1/2 hours to 5 hours
  • Servings:

    4–6

Ingredients

2 c. turkey, cooked
4 c. water
4 c. turkey broth
1 tsp. sea­soned salt
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pep­per
1 onion, small
1 car­rot
2 cel­ery, stalks
1 bay leaf
6 oz. noo­dles — of your choice

There are a few vari­a­tions for left over turkey soup, but I like Slow Cook­er EASY Left­over Turkey Noo­dle Soup because it is EASY! Enjoy

  1. From your left­over Thanks­giv­ing Turkey, cut meat into bite­size chunks.
  2. Chop the onion, car­rot and cel­ery.
  3. Place all of the ingre­di­ents EXCEPT noo­dles in your slow cook­er.
  4. Cov­er. Cook on Low for 4 hours.
  5. Remove the bay leaf and add the noo­dles.
  6. Cov­er and Crock for anoth­er hour on Low or 1/2 hour on High until the noo­dles are soft.

I made this yes­ter­day, and I didn’t have turkey stock, so I used 4 cups chick­en bouil­lon, and it came out great!

Just curi­ous. Most peo­ple work 9 hr and most don’t have a crock with a timer. So why 4 hrs when most peo­ple are gone for at least 10. I guess the recipes are for stay at home per­sons. Going to try it any­how. Might be a bit over cooked. Just cross­es my mind every time I ran across four hour crock­pot recipes
