Slow Cooker Creamy Crab Dip

    8–10

Ingredients

16 oz. sour cream
6 oz. — 7 oz. crab­meat, canned or fresh
3 oz. cream cheese, soft­ened
1 small jar arti­choke hearts, drained (8.5 oz. jar)
1 oz. Veg­etable Dip mix
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 clove gar­lic
Salt and Pep­per to taste


Every time I make Slow Cook­er Creamy Crab Dip, my friends lick the crock clean. Thats when you know your appe­tiz­er was a hit!

  1. Com­bine all ingre­di­ents in small crock.
  2. Stir occa­sion­al­ly!
  3. Cov­er and crock on HIGH 2 hours.
  4. Stir well before serv­ing. Serve with mel­ba toast, but­tery crack­ers, or saltines.

Option­al Step: Trans­fer dip to oven-safe serv­ing dish and brown for a few min­utes under the broil­er before serv­ing.

Do you cut up the arti­choke hearts? And please be more spe­cif­ic when you say veg­etable dip mix. Are you talk­ing hid­den val­ley ranch mix? I am just not sure what you mean by that.

For the crab dip, can I use my only size crock, a 4 1/2 qt.??? Then trans­fer to a pyrex serv­er. Also, since I have one that size, can I dou­ble the recipe with­out any prob­lems???
